Oregon Elopement Photographer

Captured on digital + film. Based in Portland, Oregon. Available everywhere you are.

Let’s be honest — eloping is one of the best decisions you can make. No seating charts, no uncomfortable family politics, no timeline running three hours behind. Just you, your person, and the most stunning scenery Oregon has to offer.

As an Oregon elopement photographer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing some of the most intimate, intentional, and flat-out beautiful ceremonies this state has to offer. The Columbia River Gorge at golden hour. The dramatic cliffs of Cannon Beach with the tide coming in. The eerie, otherworldly silence of the Alvord Desert. The ancient trees of Forest Park right here in Portland. Mt. Hood with snow still on the ground in May. Cape Kiwanda at sunset when the sandstone turns gold. Oregon is genuinely one of the most photogenic places on earth and I will never get tired of it.

Elopements are my love language. They’re slow, intentional, and completely yours. We pick the location that means something to you. We plan around the best light. We take our time. And at the end of it, you walk away with photos that actually look and feel like the day you had — not a generic version of what a wedding is supposed to look like.

I shoot digital and 35mm film, my editing is warm and true-to-tone, and I genuinely give a damn about making sure every single person in your photos looks damn good. I’ve been doing this for 10+ years. There’s not much that can faze me.

Not eloping in Oregon? No problem. I’m based in Portland but my passport has seen better days and I intend to keep it that way. Wherever you’re going, I’m in.

All love is welcome here. Always.

Why Oregon is One of the Best Places to Elope in the US

Oregon is absurdly diverse for one state. In a single day you can go from old-growth forest to volcanic mountain to high desert to rugged coastline. The light here — especially in spring and fall — is the kind that makes photographers emotional. Golden hour on the Oregon coast is genuinely something else.

Beyond the scenery, Oregon is one of the most elopement-friendly states in the country. No waiting period for a marriage license, straightforward requirements, and an endless list of stunning public lands where you can exchange vows with the whole sky as your backdrop.

Whether you’re dreaming of a misty morning in the Columbia River Gorge, a golden hour ceremony on the coast at Cannon Beach, or something completely off the beaten path in Eastern Oregon — I know these locations, I’ve shot them in every season, and I’ll help you choose the one that fits your vision perfectly.

Want the full breakdown of the best places to elope in Oregon? I wrote the guide for that.
