Modern Romance at this Mt Hood Organic Farms Wedding

Mariah & Arthur’s story starts off with the most perfect nerdy beginning that I adore: they met when a coworker of Mariah’s invited her to join their Dungeons and Dragon’s game. Arthur was one of the players in the established group.

Here’s a bit more about their proposal from Mariah:

“I (Mariah) am really lucky in that my company offers employees who have worked there 4 years a four week paid vacation. Being the traveler I am (as the stories above show!), I knew I had to spend every minute I could out there in the world. Arthur unfortunately as a medical student does not get the same perks so he could only take two weeks off. I spent the first two weeks traveling across Spain with a friend, Bethani. What I did not know is that Arthur had been secretly coordinating with Bethani. He managed to surprise me by flying in to Spain a full day earlier than I expected him — and I was the one who booked our tickets!. He managed to get Bethani to take me to the correct location, the Plaza de España in Seville. Once we reached the center of the plaza by the water fountain, he walked out, guided me over to one of the little bridges, and proposed. Then we got to spend the next two weeks together spending a couple more days in Spain before traveling around Portugal.”

Mariah and Arthur’s wedding was an absolutely stunning one. We really lucked out with how beautiful the light was and had a blast with the getting ready photos in the cottage. Their first look was really sweet and tender, you can see it all of the emotions and excitement on Arthur’s face. Everything about this wedding day from start to finish was all about modern romance and intention.
