Intimate, Foggy & Moody Samuel H. Boardman Oregon Coast Elopement
As a wedding photographer, I’ve been lucky to document so many love stories, but Kellee and Clayton’s elopement at Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor truly stood out. Their intimate ceremony along the Oregon coast was filled with meaningful moments, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Pacific Northwest.
High School Sweethearts in the Pacific Northwest
Kellee and Clayton, who live in Arizona with their two kids, decided to elope in Oregon to embrace the lush, moody vibes of the Pacific Northwest. As high school sweethearts with over a decade of marriage under their belt, their bond was strong and undeniable. Capturing their love story surrounded by the cliffs and greenery of Samuel H. Boardman was a real honor.
A First-Time Experience in a Misty Wonderland
While Clayton had visited the Pacific Northwest before, this was Kellee’s first time experiencing its beauty. Leading up to their Samuel H Boardman elopement, the weather was sunny and clear, but the day of their ceremony, fog rolled in, transforming the forest into a dreamy, magical setting. The mist created an incredible backdrop for their photos—moss-covered trees, towering trunks, and a soft, diffused light made every moment feel surreal.
Sunlight and Coastal Views
As the fog lingered, the sun broke through at just the right moments at their Samuel H Boardman elopement, casting golden light across the cliffs and ocean. Walking hand in hand along the coastline, Kellee and Clayton’s connection shone through in every frame. The dramatic scenery of Samuel H. Boardman perfectly complemented their story, making their day unforgettable.
Capturing Love Stories
Kellee and Clayton’s elopement wasn’t just about photos; it was about preserving memories they’ll treasure forever. It’s always my goal to highlight the authentic connection between couples in a way that feels timeless.
